The Huge Value of Joining a Mastermind

A few years back when I was thinking about leaving my 27 year Real Estate career  I knew that I would have to double the income that I was creating from my Home Staging Business.

 I had created my staging business in 2005 and it was doing well but I knew that I had to up the ante in order to be able to pay for things like weddings, our home, health insurance, etc.- you know -everyday living and all the important things.

Market Your Home Staging Services from A Place of Power

If there is one thing that I know for sure, mindset is the single most important ingredient when it comes to successfully attracting an abundance of ideal clients.

If your mindset is not in alignment with what you want- you will sabotage your efforts and not really understand why. I have coached many stagers who, once they shifted their mindset around client attraction, they have soared.

Your mindset is available to either empower you or disempower you. it is always your choice and it is all about the way that you choose to see things.

I would like to suggest mindset strategies that will help empower you to attract your ideal clients.

It Starts With A Decision- you can decide to become more visible and attractive to your ideal clients or you can decide not to. Just remember that you can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results. It is truly up to you. You also can decide that it doesn’t have to be difficult daunting, overwhelming, scary, salesy, etc. to attract the clients that you were meant to serve. What if you decided that attracting your ideal clients could be an exciting new adventure or a soulful connection? Wouldn’t that make the journey so much more fulfilling and empowering? Wouldn’t your ideal clients find you more magnetic?

Clarity About Your Ideal Client-It is so important to be clear about who your ideal client is. Why is this important? Because once you have clarity around who your ideal client is you will start to connect energetically to anyone who fits your description. You will understand what makes them tick and you will be able to solve their problems in a way that  no one else does. Your marketing as well as conversations with them will connect on a much deeper level . They will feel heard. When they feel heard…..that is when they will listen to you and what you offer. You will energetically attract them. 

It is all about making the connectionMarketing is about connecting with your ideal clients- it is not about manipulation. In order to win over any client it is important to remember that in order for them to want to hire you, they must first believe that you are the one who can solve their problem best. They have to trust you. It is your job to win their trust by genuinely serving up what they want. How do you do that? By understanding what drives them and then providing a solution to partner with them to get them what they want. By being kind and compassionate and professional and leading them to solutions. By providing social proof with online testimonials and having great before and after pictures. You want to connect with them on every level possible. 

Stay in the Power of Your PassionI coach many fabulous stagers who sabotage their marketing efforts by getting too caught up in their heads. They simply won’t let themselves promote the benefits of what they do because their saboteurs come up (that little voice in their head that tells them they are a fraud or “not that great” or compares them to other stagers who “must” be more successful than them, etc. etc.). This little voice can break a great stager because it can keep her/him playing small and not marketing all out.

 It might show up in ways like doubting their value because other stagers seem to sell their homes faster in different areas of the country so why aren’t their staged homes selling as fast??? Or feeling as though they will be cut down if they shout from the rooftops how great their services are. It might even make them doubt that they are any good at all because their business model caters to consults and, although they provide a great service that DOES tip the scale in the RE market, it doesn’t compare to the “decorator show house quality ” stagings that they compare themselves to. And this is where it is really important to reframe those limiting beliefs to beliefs that are empowering.

It starts with staying in the power of your passion. If you know in your heart of hearts that you provide a great service that does help your clients sell their homes faster and for more money then it is up to you to stand behind that -from the inside out! Focus on the evidence – the evidence that supports this value that you provide. Focus on those clients who appreciated the way that you improved the desirability of their homes and evidence like the NAR and RESA stats.  Look at the ways that marketing and packaging anything makes it more valuable and since that is what you are doing here- marketing and packaging a home to optimize the showing power- it only makes sense that there is HUGE value in what you bring to the table.

Bottom line is- you have to believe in your value in order to promote yourself well and get paid what you are worth. This is mindset stuff here. So be passionate about what you bring to the table and stand behind it full out!!! Stay in the power of your passion!!!
